Pain Management
Pain is a common symptom in pets with chronic illness or injuries. We offer a variety of pain management options to keep your pet comfortable, including:
- Medications: We can prescribe medications tailored to your pet’s specific needs, including pain relievers, anti-inflammatories, and nerve medications.
- Non-medication approaches: Depending on your pet’s condition, we may recommend therapies like acupuncture, massage, heat therapy to manage pain.
- Class IV Laser Therapy: This is a non-invasive treatment option that stimulates healing, reduces pain, and minimizes inflammation. *
- End-of-life Care: Making end-of-life decisions for your pet can be overwhelming. We will work closely with you to understand your pet’s condition, prognosis, and quality of life.
* Class IV laser therapy uses different colored lights (wavelengths) to reach deep into your skin, muscles, bones, and nerves. We use this therapy to improve healing, speed up post-surgical and dental extraction recovery, arthritis management, treat acute and chronic pain, treat various skin conditions and more.
